What is your budgeting secret?

• i don't go to any store or malls unless i have a reason to go to....because most of the time a casual stroll at the mall means spending money on things that are not really needed
• i/we don't go grocery shopping when hungry...we ended up buying double the amount of food (mostly snacks) that we need.
• and mostly we go on a cash basis payment. and if ever we use our credit card we pay it off right away to avoid paying interest. and since everything we buy goes directly out of our checking account we ended up thinking twice on purchasing something, mostly when it's a big ticket item!!!
